Our client, Crystal, is the mother to two dynamic boys, serial entrepreneur, chocolate lover, realtor, and beach obsessed writer living in paradise in Panama City Beach, Florida. She is also an avid photographer, dive master, and once won the Cullman County Fair blue ribbon for the best no-bake cookies.
Crystal was raised as the oldest of 7 children in Cullman, Al. She met Bethany Kerr at the age of 14 and 25 years later we began collaborating on what would become a series of children's books and art designs to launch into the next grand adventure!
Our client needed an agency to consult on the launch of my first children's book with website design for ordering hardback copies. She was looking for a team with a diverse background building different types of websites and who is an expert in social media marketing / SEO for publishing. The following on the following aspects of this project:
We started by digitalizing the beautiful hand paintings our client provided us. For this, we used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. We then contacted the printing company to request guidelines for publishing books with them.
After following all specifications provides by the publisher, we submitted the digital versions to be printed. 3D renders of the book were also created for the landing page and marketing campaign.
We created a landing page to convert visitors into possible buyers for our client's book. We edited all images provided by our client and made them look professional. Infographics were created to match the theme we use for this landing page. All content for this website was custom built with raw HTML and CSS.
After the landing page was built, our client provided us feedback. We then created an email sequence so that once users visit the page, they are asked to enter their email address, and then redirected to an Etsy store. The email sequence was created with Mailchimp. The final website is currently hosted on our servers to minimize the typical cost of hosting landing pages.
